WOTNW stands for What’s on the Needle Wednesdays. WOTNW is an on-going weekly blog post where I share some of my WIP projects. I say some, because if I shared them all this post would go on forever. I bet many of you have dozens of projects all around the house, it’s not just me!
I would like to invite everyone to share their WIP project by doing a pingback in the comments section.
This Week’s Project –
This design is one I am super excited about, I think I have come up with that isn’t usually seen on Ravelry my guide for what is currently out there.
Below is what I am calling the base of the piece and what is on the needles is the filigree. That part I am keeping under wraps until it is complete. Knitting fast and furious, hoping to have it done by the weekend. Can’t wait to see it all come together.
The base is knit in Malabrigo Merino Worsted Weight colorway Cuerenta. It is a soft aran weight yarn. The design consists of chunky cables knit in stockinette and purl stitches.
I am an experienced designer and tech editor who has been knitting for more than 45 years.
My patterns are available through my Ravelry Store, Hummingbird Lace.
